Games are often comprised of many different levels and gE has too ways of supporting the creation and handling of new levels. The first method involves using only one ged, and creating the levels inside the stage. The other method uses multiple ged files, each file containing a different level.

Single ged file

When creating levels in a single ged, there are usually several methods used. The simplest and least efficient method is to create the levels in the stage, and jump the view around when want to change the levels. This method means all actors are active during each level, so the enemies in level 2 will be receiving events even if you are playing in level 1, or even at the main menu. Therefore this method should only be used if you don't have moving parts to your level, such as moving enemies, and similar.
