"Tomb of Twelve" walkthrough videos I upload are, as you know, without any sound. I would like to put music in those videos, but I don't think it will be good to put any music file. For someone who watches the video and has never played the game, music from video will be significant part of first impression of "Tomb of Twelve". I think the best choice would be to put original music, so if you could upload opening soundtrack, it would be great. Of course I'll credit you. If not, it's OK. In that case I would keep making "silent" videos.

Here's a new video: F.Sudol's "Tomb of Twelve" (Game Editor) - Walkthrough 3Zivouhr wrote:Koala, thanks. Yes, you can present it as you like since I know you don't have access to the sound in your video output. As long as you mention it's not the original sound, that's cool. Thanks!koala wrote:One more thing.

Thank you, Zivouhr.Zivouhr wrote:Your progress in the fire Tomb is impressive, as I consider it one of the toughest tombs in the game. Thanks for playing it!
Knowing where all the gems are and how to get past all of the enemies and traps as the developer and with much practice, I can complete Tomb of Twelve in under 4 hours, but if I was playing it from scratch, I can imagine it would have taken me 8 hours or more to finish with trial and error.

I was practicing, or exercising this level many many times. First I get to know the level, and then record it. But it was very tough, indeed. I needed to record it a couple of times, because I was dying often and I want to beat the game without lost lives. Luckily, I was dying only while recording the first video. On the other side, I don't care about lives when checking the large blue Ghost Pyramid.
I was dealing with those two fires very fast prior to recording, but here I was so afraid of dying and recording all over again, that I had to play very cautiously.Zivouhr wrote:koala wrote:Thank you, Zivouhr.Zivouhr wrote:Your progress in the fire Tomb is impressive, as I consider it one of the toughest tombs in the game. Cool.
I had the same exact strategy that you had when at the part where there are those triangles to climb up to the right, while waiting for that fire flare enemy and the fire looping around him protecting them gem on the right in that corridor. Wait and time the jump, then get out as fast as possible. Close call!

I guess there's a nice soundtrack included in the game, haha
I've always struggled with that, with the thought "I like this music, but I also like the game being under 10MB, so maybe I should find a midi file"
But audio really does make a big impact on experience
