The problem with faster enemies is because of the small screen res., if they were faster you wouldn't be able to react until its too late.
I think changing the height and wall jump wouldn't be good when the game is built around how it works. It's like CastleVania, may be stiff & delayed but the game's built around that, unlike its sequel.
Releasing a range of games for iOS has been an idea I've been carrying around for ages, I really like your idea of releasing them altogether as "Retro Boy". Though not as it is because of its screen res, unless theres a way to stretch it to 480x320? I thought of just remaking it to fit the screen- other wise it would look like this!
