@SuperSonic: Well not that necessarily, though that would be a big pain to download and upload all of those files. I'd have to add the blender files into the data folder manually. I'm more worried about things like my sprite sheets and backgrounds, which are made in the Gimp. Some of them I don't mind releasing, but several I spent hours making just to get them to flow well and look good.
So I would be pretty cautious about releasing them out to the community. And the guy that's working with me to make this game is really into his music and hopes to one day do something similar to that, and would prefer to keep his sound files to himself, though you would be able to hear them in an executable file.
@TSO: Yeah I'm not ready to sell JUST yet. Hoping to get to that stage eventually, but right now I'm just learning my way around. And I figured that's what would happen... but since the code has to be released there's not much I can do about that.
I'm not too concerned just yet, though, since my game/coding skills aren't quite to the point where I can make a game that would be worth all the effort of ripping off.
