GED corrupted

Guys, please, I have a GED file taht suddenly is not opening anymore. Game Editor frozen. I just renamed the GED file and also move it to another disk drive, and nothing happened. Other GED files are opening correctly. This project is serious to me, and I did not make a backup. Please, help.

Open up the undo file with game-editor and it will create a load of backed up undo files .

Then go through each one to find the most recent that works.

I had the same problem once and thought I lost everything till I did this

also did you make sure to copy the data folder too?

You must type (in a shell/DOS/cmd window):

Code: Select all

gameEditor yourfile.undo

Will be created several ged files based in your undo history.

Hmm... I can't open the Undo file. I got a message box "Error: Please select a file" and nothing happens.

Yes, I copied the data folder too.

make sure you put the full path to your undo file if it is not in the same folder as game-editor.

Or put the file in the same folder as game-editor
