I'm glad I found GE first. Otherwise I might have been ignorant to the "programming world".

I found Game Maker first. I was googling for "game creator, game maker, game editor"... But GE was the first one I liked. I felt that I had limited power in GM. In GE I can do every kind of game I want. The limit is only that I'm busy and when I finally have freetime I mostly feel lazy.

Lol, same here. Im trying to make pacman. Ive got all the animations for it, but Ive hit a bump in the road. Now whenever I can work on it, I'd rather be on the forums, or doing something else.

I found GM first, but I hated it cause I got stuck everywhere at every turn! I had absolutely NO clue how to make gravity with GM! GE makes things like that simpler by allowing u to write script codes.

i was looking everywhere, i found a bunch of 3d things, ugh too confusing (Lol topic title) so i thought i should use a 2d thingy, gm i seen first i was in google and typed in 2d game maker, but i clicked it and read this first paragraph
Do you want to develop computer games without spending countless hours learning how to become a programmer? Then you've come to the right place. Game Maker allows you to make exciting computer games, without the need to write a single line of code. Making games with Game Maker is a lot of fun.
my first thought was, i want to become a programmer, so i can make more stuff that just games. then i found this, http://game-editor.com/2d-game-maker.html and i was like woo hoo something that asks me stuff where most pf the answers are yes! Anyways GE Rocks!!! :D

Whenever I got bored, I went on my computer and fiddled around with stuff. I went online and played some games on sites like crazymonkeygames, and wondered, what would it take to make one of these games? So I seached desperately for an affordable (preferably free) game developing software. I didnt know what to expect. I think first, I actually searchedhow to make games.
Anyway, I found software that said stuff like "LibertyBasic makes programming easy! Bla bla bal... this is the best programming software ever made in the history of the world. So I downloaded them, and they were like "34x + uew int: input 34jdx" and I was like
So finally, I found Game Editor, and I was like "this is so hard!" But I was DETERMINED, AND I KEPT AT IT AND I DID IT!!!!

Anyway that was my really long testimony in how I found GE.

Ok, this is a very confused topic.
I'm closing now.
Game Editor is an open source game creator software that's wants to pay it's developers to keep evolving.
If you like Game Editor, make a review!
