Test this resolution please

Postby Hblade » Fri May 20, 2011 3:25 am

Hi everyone! :) I'd like you all to test this resolution please :D it's 848 x 480 which is 16:9 version of 640x480. thats right, 720x480 is actually something else believe it or not O.o I know, strange. So anyways I put together a ged, would you guys mind seeing if you can run this in full screen with no errors?

Why this resolution?
Optimized for wide screen
Makes things look smoother on LCD monitors (Not too blurry either)

Lemme know if you guys can run this res in full screen

my screen is 1280x800. game runs with blank space outside active region... so active region even blocks out the view? hmm

@Super Sonic:
If your monitor supports that resolution (Which is 16:9) It should also be able to support anything Under that as well.

@247wkman:
Im assuming your using a laptop. In this case, your resolution tells me you have (Im asuming) a windows 7 based PC with an aspect ration of 16:10. What your giving me tells me that your graphics card (Intel I asume), does not scale to fit the aspect ratio causing you to see these black lines.

My monitor is really picky. It's a flatscreen tv (not sure if that has anything to do with the problem or not) :? But what happens is when I click "Game Mode" everything goes blank and a message comes up saying "Format not supported" :)
