How do i do this?

two questions

1)how can i creat a savepoint for my actor for example,when he dies how can he go to a checkpoint.

2)how can a plane in the air shoot me? just randomly?

1) Take the actors x and y position when it collides with save point. (If this didn't help, contintue asking

2) Make a timer for the plane actor. Then put the plane make bomb with the timer.

Oh i get ya tekdino, when he hits the savepoint i add the numbers on top of the screen right, then i do i collision with any side of savepoint, then i just type in those numbers. right tekdino?
