Does gE Support C++ code?

Postby WaFGD » Fri Feb 24, 2012 5:01 am

I am learning C++ and I am planning ahead by finding a good prototyping tool.

I think prototyping should be fast and efficient. I found gE because I heard it supports C as a scripting language.

If gE does not support C++, this is fine (C++ is a derivative of C anyhow).

gE does not support C++, and depending on what type of programs you are prototyping gE may or may not be a good choice (depends entirely on what you want).

Yeah, sky's right. Game-Editor is designed for quickly creating 2d games for multiple platforms. If you're trying to make console or windows gui applications, then it's best to stick with strait c++ :wink:
