i didn't know if i should start another thread for this question or not. is there still going to be a book planned for 'game-editor'. i saw the links to the one authored by kelly wilson, and i was curious if this was just a dead subject or not.

The book is still in work. I picked up the project after chapter 2 but currently have only assembled one chapter on the wiki. I have more on my computer, but haven't assembled them for the book yet.

i don't know what plans, if any, you may have for publishing your ge book, but http://www.fastpencil.com is an excellent, online resource for publishing, with access to digital publication on the itunes book store as well as many others.

There currently is a book in progress. The first three chapters are up, I should be submitting a chapter on the basics of scripting tomorrow or the day after. You can read what is done here.
