Some advice getting started?

Postby majorpayne401 » Sun Apr 22, 2007 7:50 pm

I downloaded the game editor because ive long been interested in game design and things of that nature, but i am simply dumbfounded as to what i am to do with it now. Simply put, can anyone explain some of the basic concepts to me? What is a good way to get started, and what do i need to know to do that?

Right now (10/14/2009) I'm working on some C++ projects, but I might be able to help if you have some Game Editor questions. :)

Yep! Follow in the wise words of Sgt. Sparky. He helped me create my first video game! Trust me. What I'm good at is coming up with game ideas. You should come up with a simple, short and sweet game after you get used to working with GE (Game-Editor for those of you that don't know).
To those of you out there, I am not dead. I am a ghost! There is a difference!
