Ideas for Game Editor evolution.

A Special "Move Tool"

Game Editor gives the opportunity of game making to the world, and I am indeed grateful for it. I have experienced a lot using Game Editor. Yet I have also experienced some struggles that can significantly slow game production. Game Editor is magnificent -- here are some suggestions to make it even more so...

Create supportive and interactive tools for further opportunity
Game Editor about making games, not fiddling around with things that require several drags and clicks. (Like moving or cloning an actor to an area across your entire game.) I would be looking foreword to a special "Move Tool." I suggest that when you click on the tool itself, your cursor would change to signal that the Move Tool is Active. While it is active, when you click on an actor, that actor would be activated for moving. The second time you click, this time in the area on the game field you would like to move the activated actor to, the currently activated actor will move to that position where you clicked. So if you would like to move an actor over long distances (that would otherwise take a lot of panning and clicking), this tool would be for the job!
Also while using the Move Tool, you could hold down the Shift button while clicking in the desired position to clone an actor.

In addition, it would be extremely great to have more flexibility with actors -- a Select Tool could be necessary. While the Select Tool is active, when clicking, a box forms, which you could drag out. Any actor within the box is highlighted, ready to edit. The highlighted actors could be moved, cloned, or removed simultaneously. It would really help (and by far save time!) in the arranging of actors.

All Script Editor scripts could be organized in a better method:
A game could use a lot of scripts! Instead of taking unnecessary time to find the scripts you want to edit, it would be nice to be able to reach the script instantly. A suggestive way of organizing would be the use of sub-menus. Here's the suggestion: on the Scripts Menu, all actors that have multiple scripts would have sub-menus that contain their individual scripts. In this way, one could get to the script without the hesitation!

Game Editor is all in all great software. It provides ordinary people that have desire to make games an opportunity to create their own interactive world.

Move Tool: Well I myself can't see how this could make the game creation faster. Just cause you click three times instead of 1 drag doesn't make anything. Also, as you know, to navigate around the grid you click and drag it. This way with this tool you either mess that up, or it is no better than what we have now...

Select Tool: Yes, selecting (multiple) actors, and similar actor manipulatig stuff have been asked several times, only your ask was very specific....

Script: I like the idea. An actor can have many scripts at the same time, that's true... and only displaying the actors that contain script, and by clicking them find the specific script is great.... My games get hordes of actors, many containing several scripts. Though to bridge the problem of looking through that list: I navigate to the actor, etc...
