i,m new member. please help me .
i have 10 questions about GE.
sorry my english lan is not good

1- How Do i make a main menu for game ?!(make 5-4 page or room for game like NewGame - Help - Load Game - ...)

2- How Do i Make a icon or change game editors icon ?

3- How do i make a Rotation of car ? for example we want to make a top view game and we have a car that has 360 Rotation and moved main and Subsidiary Direction like
car in gta 2 or all of games are top view.

4- How do i make one Special zone that i can write script for it ? for example i want when player arrived near the door game shows text(Finish) or
collision. i have problem in collisions. i want 3 : 1- when player arrived to near the door game show finish text and 2- when player collision to
enemy show game is over and 3- when player like car collision to wall player can not move (block wall).

5- how do i make stop for game ? when player press for example ENTER key game is stop and when press ENTER key again
Game is show?

6- How can i import music in game editor? i found all of the software but i didnt find the Music and sound ?

7- How can i create a timer and when time is out game over?

8- do you have game demo about top view game and move?

9- how do i make a link that player clicks that open web page? for example for update high-score and add it.

10 - how can i mini menu into the game that for example player press a Escape key shows and for example have a exit and restart and music off-on?

I can answer to some of them.

2. you can make your own icons with software called icoFX. Download it here: http://icofx.ro/
6. importing music is easy, go to some actor, add action, create actor, play music, then just choose file and how many times it loops and volume.

I will answer to some other of your questions later, I hope this helped you.

I am a beginner like yourself but I can help with a couple of your questions.

To change game icon:-
Click 'Config' at top of screen then 'Game Properties' . You wil see 'Icon File' on the drop down menu. Browse for your icon file so it appears in box.
This will change the icon on your exe file

To Play Music:-
Right click the start screen backround and select Actor Control on drop-down menu. When another drop down menu appears click on the ADD button alongside Events. Click Create Actor , Add Action, Play Music, browse for file then click Add Action then Close.
Test by selecting Game Mode.

You can make a menu by adding actors like new game, load game, help and exit.
Give animations to actors and put the actions what you want to happen when you select one of
them to mouse button down event.

Like this:
New Game actor - add event - mouse button down drag: disable - script editor:

Code: Select all

LoadGame("Enter here your exported game file name");


Add - Immediate action

Now when you click that new game actor in game mode, it will load the game that you have chosen.
