Text Based Games

Postby johnno56 » Tue Mar 25, 2008 3:50 am

I am relatively new to GE but I have noticed that most of the games created are mainly graphically based. This may sound like a foolish question, and may seem like a "backward step", but can GE produce Text Based games? I have a TRS80 (oops! my age is showing!) Vocabulary Quiz that I have converted to several formats of BASIC. It is primarily text and uses a lot of words and definitions of those words (over 15,000 words and meanings) and I am curious to know whether or not GE can produce text games.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards.

J.

Definetly possible to do in GE, but that could take a while if your only starting out in C. Good luck! We'll all be here to help you if you need it.
