Serious problem in script editor on Linux GE

When I go into the script editor GE freeze upon I press any key on keyboard (sometime after some character).
It seem the keyboard input is intercepted by the console window and if I press Enter key on console GE return to life until next key is pressed. If I try to open a previously edited script (with old GE) I must press enter key on console one time (or so) for each line in script or script editor don't pop up. This is true even if I try to load a script from disk.
I hope it make sense and may be usefull to isolate the bug.

in linux GE, Game resolution list in Game Properties differ from the window GE, so , may be, this may prevent some tutorials from work (only a guess)

"demo making of: space invaders" seem not work properly from the Game Properties forth, it don't change the resolution because the mouse pointer seem to miss the menu. However, I don't think this is due to the menu lenght difference because it happen in Window GE too.

I'm sorry to bother you again but I wish to point out another bug on linux GE.
It seem that the copy/cut/paste functions don't works at all.
If I copy a piece of text (mouse select then right click and copy from menu) then, when I paste the text I will get allways a "9". This happens with cut also bat the selected text (correcly) dispears from the sceen. I think the text will not be copied at all because it is not avaiable in system clipboard.
