Tutorial on varibles?

Is there a tutorial on all the variables/functions listed in the script editor? 80% of them i don't know how 2 use.
Current projects:
Techno-Tank Arena: on hold
Techno-Tank SuperPortal (working title): 0.1%
Bowels of Galaxies: 35% (was a bit too optimistic)

The majority of them are not in a tutorial. I don't think there is built in tutorial for variables, but the forums have lots of stuff on it. If you haven't already, this can be very helpful. If you have any questions, I'm happy to help.
