Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the TAB Button resets the game. Ill mention it in the instruction manual in the new version (when the original music gets finished)

Excellent job, feels like an actual gameboy game.

I forgot to say this before so I just wanted to mention that level 4-1 was amazing, a superb use of the view movement, it's been done before but I thought it was just really well done. And it was just really epic :) . I was thinking that was going to be the climax, because of how cool it was. :D

Yeah. It was to change the pace from going left to right to up. The way off screen kills you was inspired by Catlevania 3, sort of.

Anyway, I was considering making a sequel.
I figured before this went stale, possibly adding things like an over world and save system. Anyone up for sending in ideas for new enemies/ bosses?

I will think of some when I see all the enemies in game.

An overworld map would be a really cool addition. I highly agree with almost like D.L.C. (downloadable content), or just updates to it. I hate when a good game comes out, but the developers don't pay any more attention to it. I can't think of any enemies at the moment, but I will definitely be trying to think of some. Maybe you could make a kind of campaign + kind of thing. Adding a harder mode, maybe with more enemies, or rearranging of some platforming to make it more challenging. Usually replays like campaign + are done with games that have RPG traits, like keeping your upgrades/xp for the next play-through. But maybe you could do something like that? Maybe re-working on how the bosses act, or something.

Okay, more problems. I just now finally got it to open, but when it starts and picks full screen or window window I press z or c or x and it gos back to main screen and does same thing over and over! By the way, my downloader wouldn't download the zip, so I gave up on it and got 7zip at the end to open the rar. My parents just won't care about it as long as it is free and safe. Sorry for disturbing you so much.

Mine broke ages ago (Wire broke near the tablet, common problem) :P
I've been using the mouse to draw since windows 98 with the ball mice. A tablet is considerably better, I recommend one from Bamboo and one that comes with extra Adobe programs.
It looked like this but white:

That should be easy, If i change Retro World 1 a bit, i could make it so it loads RetroWorld 2 after the credits or something.

Its a good idea, Though I'll think of adding a hard mode & stuff once the game is actually finished - since then ill know better of what to do. I thought it was called "New game +"

So strange. Try extracting it to a folder rather than straight from the zip. If not, try the full screen only version.

Sorry for all this trouble.

Really good game! offers a great challenge!
you should develop it further, perhaps faster moving enemies and a larger jump height with smoother wall jumping, then release it on.. IOS? you could make a range of games and release them in one app named retroboy, or something along those lines!

EDIT: I gave +1 too.
--> For my help, i ask for a simple +1 if it helps! ^-^
--> I dont code, I type art which you dont understand.
--> I keep winning the 3D model challenge at college, teacher says: "you keep winning im not giving you prizes".

Oh yeah, your right, I'll have to edit that in my forum post. But yeah, I think it would be a cool addition to the game.
