A simple question

Postby RippeR7420 » Wed Mar 16, 2011 11:41 pm

Changing the "Icon" picture for an exporting game thats on the desktop, I've went into Config>Game Properties and changed the "icon file" but it's still the GE pacman character when I export. Does anyone know why/how to do this?

Well, if you are exporting to Linux or mac, that file won't work. If it is for windows, then perhaps your icon file is not the right dimensions. It is said that a 32x32 .ico file should get it to work on windows.

Well, I believe 32x32 is the standard, what is your computer's default icon size? Usually what you'd do is create an ico file with the following sizes.
48x48
32×32
24x24
16x16

Thanks for help :D

I actually found a pretty rad website where you can convert GIF images into .ICO's!

Here's the link in case any one else wants to check it out:

For the mac icons, use IcoFX. It's free and easy to use.
