Hi guys,

I seem to stumble that it is hard to find tutorials on how to do isometric games with game editor. Anyone who can advice me on how to make one?

it depends on how you go about it but in an essence an isometric games the same as any 2D game the graphics are just drawn isometrically the biggest problem with isometric is it takes way more tiles than normal flat view and they don't fit together right, now if you did normal flat view tiles and then isometric objects that on the other hand is much easier route while still giving an isometric look!

Hey i did a basic platformer (got help from video tutorial) But i've done platform jumping games with python also and thats not what im looking for.

The question is how to get started to do basic movement etc in tilebased RPG with game-editor i dont think its done same way than in platform adventures?

I also couldn't find any tutorials for such a things like menus etc. So good program, but too less videotutorials... :(

There is a picture what im planning to do: http://www.extraguy.com/2010/11/for-who ... iles-toll/ (not my project, but this is what im looking for... sadly my tiles arent that cool ;) )
