Hey calm down dude! Do you mean that he should buy new iPhone just for testing one game??
And, if it runs well on older iPhone, why it wouldn't do same on newer one? Usually phones get better by newer versions...

the iphone 3GS has 256mb of ram to the 2G's only 128. It also has a 833mhz processor to the 2G's 620mhz. If it doesn't run well on newer models, than something just isn't right. Plus the iphone 4 has 512 ram and a 1ghz processor. No worries man. (though i believe the first three models are underclocked, but that still doesn't change much)
