Most of December was very cold for us this year. It got down to -40 degrees C. Incidentally that is also -40 in F. Most of the time it was between -25 and -35. On top of that you have wind chill, which is when the cold air takes heat even faster, so it seems colder.

For Christmas(Dec 25) it warmed up a little, until just after new years day(Jan 1st). Now it is cold again, and was -40 when I woke up.

I'd like to make a joke and say that if it were not for global warming it would be -60.

The coldest weather I was ever outside in was -57C in the 1980s. We were at a winter olympics event. The organisers build huge bon fires, 4 meters high for people to gather around. IF you got close you would feel like you were burning your front, but your back was still cold! The heat dissipated that quickly.

There were some buildings to go into, but because people were entering and exiting the doors so much, it was only 20 degrees warmer inside. They were having trouble cooking food for people. It was so cold that the burgers would not cook on the grill.

Wow that's really cold!!

My aunt lives in Canada. Aparently they don't salt the roads because it's too cold to be effective.

Where I live (Which is in Canada), we place sand instead, so better traction.
Salt only makes water freeze at a colder point, so that's why you don't use it in case it's too cold.

Oh, they are really using salt too?
I tought slippery roads were covered with salt everywhere. Actually it's small stones (pebble?) at least in here but I guess you were meaning it. :)

Hahah, we have no "general chat" place on the forums so almost all the non-GE related talking is made in the 2009 topic?

since this "General" sub forum is suppose to be about Game Editor...
I vote for a new sub-forum or a new forum for all Off-Topic discussion

This would increase the social actions taken place and as well accumulate an amount of knowledge of peers

It is not suitable to talk to a human being the way thou hast chosen to, O Game a Gogo.
Truly, I say to thee: Consider less frightening messages when producing thy next posts.
Furthermore, my suggestion to thee is: Get busy, for at least one of us has to be!
