Agreed. When GE was a retail purchase, it was said to have a watermark covering the game until you bought the full retail version of the development software. Once you bought GE, the watermark would disappear. Also: Now that GE is a program free to use under the GE license, it's free to distribute your games created with the software Game Editor without having to pay royalties. Royalty free.
Of course if your game did really well, I'm sure GE would appreciate any donations to continue development of the Editor.
For those who have sold your games on Apple's App Games, or elsewhere, how has it been getting exposure for your games with the massive competition out there? What price did you charge for your game also if you don't mind? Thanks!
