So, yeah - another Sonic game to be thrown onto the development table.
This one's called Sonic: Velocity, and will be in many ways a sequel to Empire of Nightmares, although not directly, so to speak.
The game will be based on my new Sonigy Engine, and will feature cutscenes with full voice-acting as well as extensive RPG style boss battles, and enhanced graphics/sprites.
Regarding screenshots, etc; I currently can show you a screenshot from the alpha-build of the game, featuring the new engine, sprites and a redesigned HUD:
I've decided to release the first portion of Sonic: Velocity to the masses.
This demo features the entire first chapter of the game, including all cutscenes (with voice acting), levels and the first boss battle.
Naturally the game is not finished just yet, and a number of bugs may be present as a result.
Regardless, please download, give it a shot, and I hope you enjoy the story so far~!

SIDE NOTE:Alrighty then - I know Shadow: Sons of Destiny development has been quiet lately. Mainly because...um, there hasn't been any. Today I'm officially anouncing that SOD is dead in the water.
Why would I do this? Well mainly because for the most part, a game where you play as Shadow will not appeal to as many people out there in internet land as a game where you play as Sonic, for example, whom has a much wider
fan base and whom more can relate to in a storyline.
Luckilly, there wasn't much practical work done on Sons of Destiny - in fact, nothing more than a main menu, since I've been working relentlessly on my new Sonigy Engine, which provides a near-SEGA experience for all GE Sonic fan games.
The engine is well on it's way to a final version, and naturally I'll be using it as the framework for Sonic Velocity.
