linux GE crash

I'm using GE with Mandrake 10, some time (...and some time frequently) GE crash with the following message:
XIO: fatal IO error 0 (Success) on X server ":0.0"
after 29428 requests (29426 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

it happen when switch to Game Mode or while GE is in Game Mode
#requests are allways 2 more than #processed
the dead GE windows remain screen and I must kill it from the ProcessTable.
