Game Business Prospects

I've been using GE for about 2 weeks now for personal use and have had quite a bit of fun developing a game for my kids (my beta testers!), they certainly enjoy the results. I was starting to think of possibly getting into a side business doing this, or wondering if anyone is looking for a worker bee?

I've made a few 2d games for myself for over 20+ years, and have a EE degree. Is it worth the effort in this particular market?

Several people 'round these parts are making money sellig their games. We'll just have to wait for them to pipe up and tell you about it!
