That is impressive. While that is illustrated better and is great tutorial which could even determine sides of a polygon, make other shapes, and circles, it's not really good to disapprove and demotivate other's codes by saying it's awful. This is not my opinion, it's most of our opinions, most of gEF's members opinion, not stackoverflow programmers. This code is easier and does not need bitfox and could also serve as an alternative.

Even if HBlade's code is wrong for example (Which it is not by the way, it works!), demotivating his work and attempt is not a good way to respond. If you don't like it, try to keep it for yourself... No need to let us "unprofessional" members know it.

I can only talk from personal experience but for me It's because for year and years I never even knew what language I had been using on gE, It was quite a revelation when I found I was using C...

I'll have to agree, there are many things about bat I won't miss, But I feel it didn't have to be this way.
If bat didn't say as many corrosive things then bat's great programming would have shined through... There have been many questions about C that I wanted ask bat78 but felt too uneasy... Hblade, Lcl, Skydereign and Bat78 are some great minds if they all collaborated we'd already have gE 1.5...

Bat, you're actually a nice person, you're actually a nice person to be friends with, but in the forums, you keep arguing and disapproving things that don't go your way, and you think you are the perfect programmer, when clearly, no one is perfect. You want everyone to become like you when everyone else is different and not as serious a person as you are...

I realized people here are more for the friendship.. not actual work. A lot even suffer from mental/social disorders and I have to comply with them + my additional hard work to please you all with unique gE features.

But as jon said, this is not s/o and the people who are left are extremelly uncapable to program at all. Lazy or skills lacking. So yeah I understand. And can view the way I look. Thus I wont miss any of you too.

@bat78: I don't understand what you're doing.

Lately pretty much all you've done has been insulting pretty much everyone here and having poisonous and anything but constructive fights with several different members. What is the point in any of that? You talk about how hard you've been trying to "fix the forum", but, at least for me, the things you've done seem more like attempts of tearing everything apart. Visiting the forums nowadays is nowhere near as comfortable and motivating as it used to be, because most likely the first new post one will read is you arguing with someone and insulting them when you have nothing else to say.

I am just speaking professionally.. a concept lacking in most of you.

One sentence after you've said you didn't mean to insult Hblade, you go on and insult "most of" the forum members.

It doesn't matter how hard you try to disguise it behind your "professional talk", your words are often needlessly sharp and harmful for others. Professionality is not about being arrogant and mean at every possible turn. Everyone here knows that you're the best here when it comes to programming. But being very good at something doesn't give you any godlike right to treat other people badly and as if they were less valuable for the community.

If you concentrated on your projects and left people alone, you'd be a highly valuable member for the community. Your skills could really shine and benefit other people. But the way you've chosen to behave has turned against you. One by one people are getting tired of your hurtful and mean attitude.

If you really left, things would be easier with probably far less fighting taking place here. But development-wise and content-wise, if you left, the forum would also lose one of it's most brilliant minds.

Thanks for defending me guys. Bat seems to be the type of person who would bring a game industry down if he was in charge. He insults you yet claims he's not insulting you, he's actually pretty mean and tries to be intimidating with a false professionalism. I don't think he means to though. It's possible he just has a social disorder and doesn't know how to properly communicate with people.

LCL: You're an awesome dude, and I love the raytracing thing you made ^.^ Using bitfox (I think it was?) you've made something incredible =D I look forward to more of what you make dude.

Turon: Agreed, I also had no idea it was C at first lol, and if we wanted to learn C professionally, Im sure we could, we just don't have the motivation XD Right? (me at least lol)

You ask me to understand your all feelings while you obviously couldn't accept or understand one thing about me - I only care of development and talking about it.

There is a difference between me insulting and you feeling insulted. As I didn't mean to insult you / say a lie about you e.g you are dumb / .. feeling insulted is your own problem and you SHOULD NOT blame me for it.

To make it clear I have nothing personal with you all so stop pushing your social and moral needs to me.
Also bitfox has nothing to do with SABRE.
Next time you "really like something" make sure you firstly know what is it.. it is enough to either check my release of bitfox or read LcL's.. where he never mentions anything about bitfox. I am at least not a shame like most people except for lcl and jolteon (from recent activity)

I hope you'll eventually realize how little you're effecting me emotionally. Honestly you're wasting time trying to troll. Nobody was pushing anything on you, you do realize that if you hadn't have worded things the way you did, none of this would even be an argument, and there wouldn't be any need for extended replies about it. Also you have insulted me, many times, saying my code is bad, etc. Also telling me things like "make sure you firstly know what is it", will just get ignored. I'm not about to change my ways for someone, especially someone who annoys me with the way they type, the kind of "I'm always right" person.

Agreed, though, I don't dislike you as a person. In fact, I don't even know you. That's not to say your posts aren't completely annoying and have nothing to do with development or helping in the development area. You're simply ranting.
