Can GE do this?

Postby Juggernaut » Tue May 06, 2008 3:23 pm

I'm interested in buying GE and working on some game designs that I have had rattling around in my head for some time. However, I have questions about what GE can do ...

1) My new PC is running Vista Home Premium ... after scanning the forums briefly I've seen some conflicting posts about whether or not GE is fully Vista compatible. Will I have issues running it on my new system? I have 3 gigs of ram, a GeForce 8500 video card, and an AM Phenom 9500 quad-core processor (2.2 ghz).

2) Does GE support multiplayer gaming? I would like to design some games to be playable by multiple players on a lan or across the internet.

3) Does GE have any sort of built-in AI support or is that going to be strictly up to the user to code?

Thanks for your help and input. I'm looking forward to joining the GE community.

I have the Vista Home Premium (32 bits, english version) running Game Editor without problems.
Try the demo version in your system.

No, sorry.

You need to provide the AI.
Game Editor is an open source game creator software that's wants to pay it's developers to keep evolving.

Thanks, I appreciate the info. The answers are pretty much what I expected, so no problems there. Yes, I will definatlely have to try out the demo version.
