Screen resolution 800w x 480h not support for PPC [FIXED]

Good day everyone, and Makslane:

Recently, the pocket pc has a new screen resolution, WVGA, 800w x 480h.
I believe that our Game-Editor software can be supported by this screen resolution with adding the rotate left function.

So far, it has been as the following pictures.




Could Makslane please help me to add the 800 W x 480 H pocketpc Rotate left?

P.S. 640W X 480H pocketpc Rotate Left, 320W X 240H Smartphone , PocketPC Rotate left,
they perfectly work right now.

Dear Makslane:

I don't quite understand your instruction.
This is what I do;
Created a file name " deviceinfo.txt" from the notepad program
Copy " Deviceinfo.txt" and "800x480_test.exe" to my device's root.
I try to copy to " My device" folder (Normally, this is the root folder of Pocketpc)
Also, I try to copy to " my document" folder.

Then, I run " 800x480_test.exe"
Exit

Then, I check a file " deviceinfo.txt".
It is still a blank file. There is no new information in a file.

If I have done a wrong step. Could you please give me an advice?

Make sure you are using the pocketpc.bin posted in that post.

In the thread, p52112.
There are 2 pocketpc.bin files.
I have tried both files.
It does not work and comes up with the sample result as the above pictures.

Really appreciated for your help.

wow thats wierd most pocket pc it works ....ok i got a question the pocket pc u have is wvga right?
1)ok the rom in ur pocket pc is it flashed or original rom that came with pocket pc ?
2)is ur pocket pc an ARM processor or MIPS?
flashed rom pocket pc will not work i know that cause i released powermanrunner as freeware i mostly got good reviews but some people pocket pc it did not work so what i will do is make it 480X800 instead and i post it here....also check to see if its an ARM processor ...i do some research cause its a real fun game i want it to work on ur pocket pc i do best i can keep up the good work chai all of us together will improve gameeditor engine!!!ALSO www.WM6SOFTWARE.com IS WEBSITE WHERE U CAN SELL GAMES check it out ok and tell me if u able to get through

I just test it and It look like working but not totally 100%


This "Pocketpc.bin" still have some problems with Mouse button down function.

I put " Pocketpc.bin " and "deviceinfo.txt" file like image below

Screen on pocket pc show

but it look like button screen still didn't rotated like screen


and this is the infomation in " deviceinfo.txt " file

Screen between 800w x 480h and 480w x 800h are really different when you create game.
