Need Gaming Programs

A friend of mine and I have been gaming our entire live. We just graduated highschool and were interested in getting into the Gaming buisness.
We were wondering if there were any free programs out that would help us get our feet in the door.
Any help would be greatly appritiated.

Well, try GE free version and if you like it, you can purchase it. It's really worth it.
Of course there is many free programs like notepad...
