Thanks Just4Fun, that's a good way to do a gradient to save on file size and memory (rather than an image file). It's especially important for mobile devices, where the entire app may even be downloaded through the air over a wireless connection.

A good way to picture it is as a ship leaving the North Pole heading towards the South Pole but at an angle.

ADDED - SurfPlot - Function of Two Variables
Advanced Drawing Lesson - 3D plot of the function of two variables.

I have been working on this one for YEARS. Adapted from an old favorite computer book of mine "Fun Mathematics on your Microcomputer" by Czes Kosniowski - Cambridge University Press - 1983.

I don't have a menu system, just uncomment whichever funtion you wish to plot.

HAVE FUN WITH THIS ONE!!!

Wow, trajecto:
You beat me to it. I've been trying to get julia and mandelbrot sets to work with GE too! I can hardly wait to see your solutions... Thanks again and it is really nice to see that you have a little time to drop back into the GE community. I always enjoy your contributions very much...
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

Thanks Just4Fun!

I know you were looking for some Fractal code before. I have been wanting to do this for a long time too. These can be tweaked of course for colors, size, zoom, etc. Ideally a zoom function needs to be added.

I am still very impressed in how fast they render. Game-Editor C-script is really very fast.
