If he alowed file atachment he would reach his monthly bandwith limit much faster, and would have to pay much more, so if one user posts a 1mb file and 100 people download it than he would lose 100mb and imagine that there are 100 files hosted 100*100=10gb and thats not cheap, so makslane would probably have to raise the price of GE to cover the costs of the extra bandwith wich i think nobodey wants, so it is much better and simpler to use free file hosting web sites and just post links to the files.

Is there a bandwith limit in phpBB?? Becouse with a free host of phpBB there are not.
