i made overclocking test with this soft :

makslane -> i found a bug with game editor
yesterday i made a little platform engine like your platform demo

and when the actor is in collision with a plateform , the gp2x freeze !
we can't move our actor and music is running...

in pocket pc and PC there are no bugs...

if you could solve this problem it's could be cool ;)

Are you using Physical Response action?

Are you using Paeryn's Hardware Accelerated SDL version or are you using the (awfully slow) GPH official version.

I doubt you are using the standard ones, because the software runs at a pretty impressive speed now, but if you are using NON accelerated SDL it may be a HUGE boost in speed.

You can find Paeryn's HW accelerated SDL libs and some talning and examples here:

I have fixed some bugs and crashs, please update again (Help -> Check for Updates menu).

- Bug "Physical Response don't works after game mode" removed
- Bug "Path don't works in GP2X" removed
- Bug "Collision don't works in GP2X" removed
