Cherckers Events

Postby edh » Mon Sep 01, 2008 11:04 pm

I'd like to see some wiki stuff about events. I just cannot get my head around the checkers demo.

The events in the checkers demo aren't the problem. The problem to understand is the algorithm of the game.

Well yeah, the algorithm is worth reading, but that is just an algorithm. I can understand that. I don't understand the whole activation event relationship. I wouldn't have done it with events because I don't understand why they are there. I would have just called a function to reset the board and there would be no "events".

Will work too. The activation events are ony one of many ways toma make the reset!

OK, who made this thread...?

This was pulled out of the Wiki thread where asmodeus asked what we thought needed to be added to the wiki. Whomever did it, mis-spelled the word Checkers.
