TrueType font question

When I select the Wingding.ttf font in the Set Text Panel, GE doesn't recognize the font icons. Am I doing something wrong or is this due to the graphical nature of the Wingding font :?: TIA
I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

Will works, but you need type the correct characters.
If your text is EF (with the wingding font) will show the left and right hands

Oh, now I see. The wingding font doesn't display the actual font icon in the text input area. The correct symbol is displayed only when I close the Set Text Panel.
