How install the editor on OSX?

Hi,

Totally new on GE, but download the package and try to start the editor for OSX, the
only thing that happens is the Terminal opens up, thats it.
Can see that the Win version works, ends with .EXE.

once terminal pops up, the editor should pop up not long after that
if it doesn't come up you may have to re download it
