NOVEMBER Tournament: Sports

So who are the potential candidates? And I'm thinking of adding a tournament part in the new chatroom Jolt made so we can discuss how we're doing and stuff.

I'll join as a judge. If someone makes an e-sports parody game (for example MLG Simulator 2016), they will get a perfect score from me.

Don't become sad from the "overwhelming" participation here.
The surprising restart of your tournaments might have been announced too shortly.
My plan was, at least starting the dev-thread for my project this weekend, but
there is not enough to see yet.
During the next week there should come out something...

What do you think about expanding the timeline until the 21st next month ?
So there will be chances for the one or the other contestant to join,
and for me, to come closer to a playable version.

Really, I have never thought about creating a sports-game, but somehow your
tournament announcement gave me a kick, an idea flashed through my brain,
and now I'm totally obsessed !

If the people want a month extension, why not? Deadline is now December 21st.

Good to hear the dead line has been extended for those able to participate. I can imagine this is a busy time of year, plus other distractions like Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront in stores.

Digiot, I'm really sorry for not replying this as soon as you posted this, I only have time to check recent posts in the thread because I'm very busy nowadays, with college and stuff.
About your post:
If I have to be honest, I'm not sure what my current project is nowadays Digiot... If you're talking about Martian Madness, I think I've finished the game now, unless other people actually try it and find bugs or something.

Why I don't join as a judge:
I've joined as a judge twice or thrice in NoH's tournaments and I don't think that would stimulate my game making skills much... So... I'd like to be a contestant!

Its not my stile, but here I'm giving up before even trying : The computerplayer
for Top-Kick League !
Though the game is simple as can be, with the words of a famous german soccer coach:
"The round thing must go into the square thing", it is also some kind of "free-chess".
You always have to think ahead some turns, and that makes implementing an AI too difficult.

Unfortunately, that also makes the planned league mode impossible !
So there will only remain a human vs. human version, just Top-Kick.

That also requires a redesign of the game's displays.
What a luck, there are four more weeks left !

Well yep, I've "thrown my hat in the ring" and now we're contestants indeed.
I'm making a shooting game also with computer players... It's too simple as-is but I'll update it a bit for more varieties, of course that could be the ruination of my games as always (Making it complex and backfiring in the end.)...

How big can a game be to post it here on the forum without the need for an exteral site to link to? I saw that most files only allow up to 2 MegaBytes total before it's no longer allowed, but wonder if that's the case here also, or if it's over that size, needs to be hosted on another site for download of the game?

I guess it's best to link it to another site, unless your game is small and compressed... What do you mean as directly as a download in the forum? If it's the attachment file you said it already, 2 MB, so I'm honestly a bit confused... xD
