I was just joking. He said 'WM' and when I looked at it, I thought it looked like 'MW' so I wrote that to be silly =)

You know, if there were ever a time in the history of humanity to make a handheld device on your own, THIS IS THE TIME.

Use raspberry pi's with some cheap touchscreens from china.

Pi, battery, touchscreen, casing...the casing is maybe the hardest part!
It's easier to be clever than it is to be kind.

wait seriously would i have to have a license to sell the console and not the game EDIT actually, i is making a tutorial when finished i have a design that is super easy to do and you dont need to solder anything... most likely that is at least what i am aiming for.

Like i said before, You need to think what you will do after your project is done.

Get the license before publish or publish before you get the license is the choice for developer. choose wisely.
If you want to sell think about the price also. if the price is higher than GP2x or NDS or PSP it is really hard to make the market.
[because of the game-soft also]

Btw, you need to make a thing work before to talk these details.

Well, I wanted someone to finally do this one of these days, so good luck. Some questions of my own are:

-What do you think the price will be?
-How will you determine the developers of the games for your GE console? (What I'm saying is, will you have to make sure that are you going to have a test to see who can make games for the console, so people with games that don't appeal to the market don't get put on there.)
-What will the name of the system be?
-Will you make a second version even?
-What will cartridges look like?
-How will copyright be placed on our games and the console?
-How much money will this cost? (Just curious)

Sorry for all the questions, I just am kind of excited that someone is doing this. :D

@chai i was wondering i know that i have to make it work :)

@nightofhorror i will answer your questions in order

1. maybe around 50 dollars or lower it is no the most fantastic thing ever made.
2. I was thinking that when it is sold people xould make their own games with it of course i will make my most famed games for it and i can ask other people if they could make the handheld version of their games too.
3. We were thinking of Game Editor Pocket
4.most likely even the gameboy advance had gameboy advance sp.
5. I was thinking about using sd cards as cartridges but they would be to easy to hack hmmm...
6. i dont know i will have to figure that out.
7.see first answer

i am open to questions and comments feel free to input an idea :D
