No. There was a book project started but it'll be at least a year until it's finished.

Any book about C language will do. GE's language is C.
Learning the GE's structure is simple afterwards

Are you still working on the gE book skyderiegn? Chapter 3, your chapter, looked pretty promising, and I would love to see more.

Yeah I am, though I have somewhat restructured it since then. The biggest problem for a while was deciding on what type of user to write it for... Anyway I've been writing a little bit every day so it may actually get done.
