Animation Colours lost

Postby xenoruh » Fri Apr 15, 2005 7:00 am

Hi again, I have an animated gif running in GE. In Game Mode some parts of it display in transparent. After experimenting I can correctly say that these frames only become transparent in added areas when in Game Mode playing in animation mode. When I load its individual still frames, GE displays them properly. How do stop GE from erasing some of my animation colours?

Hi, no the colours are definately not transparent. The gif file is 470 x168 pixels and is made up of 40 frames. The deviant transparency affects at least 4 different colours at one time (ei. in a single frame). It doesn't seem to affect any one colour uniformly. The letters in some frames lose their colour from their centre, with only a purple, cyan, red, green or white outline depending on the letter.
To see how it should be go here:

This gif is the exact copy of the one used by my GE

Game Editor don't understand this image right. I think this bug will be solved on 1.2.9 version.
Now, you can convert your gif into individual frames to use.
