Tile matching

Postby Novice » Sat Feb 04, 2006 2:09 pm

Is it posiblle to use more than 15 frames for tile matching so i can have for example two types of corner or two types of straight land. Also is there a way to combine two animations in tile maching (it is) but so that the second tile uses boundaries and not just replace existing tiles for ex. inserting grass tiles on land tiles but the grass should be outlined inside the land.

Sorry for the stupid image  ,but i wanted to make myself perfectly clear.
Why do i always get stuck?

You can't use more than 15 frames for tile matching, but you can use more than one animation.

Is just like using tiles except it uses 9 tiles at once and puts the right ones in the right positions so you can create landmases and such map thingies without needing to change from corners to straights GE does that for you, basicly its just faster tiling.
