I need help with fonts.

Is there somewhere an example of font from picture?

This font has just the basic symbols and only capital letters, if you want to know the correct order of the whole font just google for "ASCII table"

How does one go about creating a font file? Does their have to be a certain ammount of space allocated for each character? The reason I ask is that their seems to be more space for the letter, 'A' than a period.

I think that you have to use equal spaces because GE splits animation strips in to equal frames.

So if I was to make a tile map with equal sized tiles, but with letters, I would be able to use it as a font? If you look at the font you posted above the 'period' does not seem to have the same amount of space as the letters.

I just tried out the pic i posted above. You should use equal spaces. I posted this image from some font creation program.
