My first game isn't yet done, but I wanted to start something I would like more to do (just did first game to learn game editor and making games) a 2d shooter. Like not the top down, more of a "mario view" But one thing I need is a good way to make images or where to download them.

Right now I need to know how to make my "Player" move with his feet moving. How to change directions and look there, also how can i shoot the direction I'm looking.

Thanks in advance, and I'm sure I'll be asking more questions until I'm fully sure on how to use this program. Thanks Gabe P.S. Sorry if I ask to many questions and that I'm new to making games. I've always wanted to make games much many failed attempts on rpg maker for the playstation 2.

Yes, you can just change the "Punch" into "Shoot" right?

I'm sure I can figure it out. right now I'm trying to use paint to make a bullet I want to make a small bullet but not to big, it looks okay.
