Try to add as much as possible to the game for making the gameplay faster and more interesting.
This game has potential, and I know that you're able to make it become something incredible!
+1 for the right attitude!!

happyjustbecause wrote:Thanks for releasing a mac version, I've checked it out now and here's what I think. Your game has a good base, it's gameplay is fairly solid, simplistic, but it works well. Just when I was starting to lose some interest, I grabbed a speed powerup and was brought back. I think that there needs to be a little more complexity to the gameplay, just a bit. I didn't get all that far, like 150 coins and 4500 meters or something, so maybe there are other things I don't know about.
Maybe you could add vertical movement as well as horizontal, I know that completely changes the gameplay, but it would give the player a lot more feeling of actually controlling the spaceship. Or maybe an occasional shield or rocket could be used that has to recharge after like 15 seconds, something more than left or right. In this kind of game you don't want to much going on, but it kind of feels like there's not enough going on yet.
I like the simplistic nature of the graphics, but I think it's almost too simple to really own a nice style for that game, at least changing the background would really make a difference, adding some more stars and having some more variation and shine to those stars I think would make a big difference, as well as a slight gradient even in the black of space, I don't know something to add to the visual appeal, rather than sometimes looking at a solid color background.
Are you planning on having the shop change the way the rocket works at all, or is it just for customizing the look of it? I think it would be cool to actually be able to upgrade the rocket's speed and other things. Maybe as a separate thing from the appearance of the rocket, so you could still fly a cat just as fast as you would a regular rocket. And why not animate the rocket's flame, it seems a little weird it doesn't move at all, it kind of makes the rocket feel less powerful.
Sorry if I went too far in giving my opinion, I just want to see this game reach what it could be, it's good right now, but it could be so much more, just keep working on it, if you keep at it, taking critiques and taking advice but keeping your vision and dream true, it'll get thee for sure.

The menu looks epic. Keep up the progress!
knucklecrunchgames wrote:Werty I think that this game is too good not to be making any money on. So this is something to think about.
Since you've already released it for free, there's no point trying to sell it. So make a DLC store, where we can buy Powerups online.
You could make a variable that holds the key to unlock powerups. People could buy it for about 25 cents or something. And because not everyone is good on computers, you could make an installer to install the variable
I recomend you sell some DLC

I supposed to make another progress on Enblast before posting another post... but...
...
I am NOT EA! I don't make games for money! I'm following my damn dream!
And making DLC is kinda stupid, I mean... WHY? We have Game Updates!
I, and we, don't want people to waste their money just for a damn short scene that cut off in the full game or even a SINGLE COSTUME in the game, We play to be pro, not BUY to be pro! You can just ask yourself if you can buy superpower
