GE serial problem

GE serial problem

I recently got a new computer to go into my bedroom.
What I am wondering is...
1)Is it legal to use the registered version of GE on the new computer
2)Is there any way to see your current serial number

The reason I need to see my serial number is becuase Yahoo deleted it from my email account, so now I have no back up of it. (I do have a 1.2.8 serial #)
