Postby Sgt. Sparky » Mon Feb 19, 2007 2:22 am

Here is a Base game for a robo thing I started to work on. :D
I stopped workin' on it so I decided to iron out some probds and post it. :D
it has pretty good jump stuff :)
and feel free to use the code :D
Here is a pic:
Image
use the left and right arrow keys to move,
up to jump.
use the down arrow to roll. :D
tricks:
1. the faster you go when you jump the higher you go.
2. when you hit a wall you can jump again,
to move back to the wall press the arrow key in the direction it threw you when you hit the wall,
then the direction of the wall.
:D
3. the bad dude cannot hurt you(it is only a baseGame)
:D
Here it is:

RunawayRoboBaseGame.zip
Here is the base game,
it is not really a "Game"
it is just for help with jumpin' and stuff :D

I downloaded the demo and see that you've got a variable called 'type'. It makes a very cool text effect on your game but I can't find where you've defined it. It doesn't even appear in the list of your variables!

Or is it one of the new features in the new GE?
I can't die, I already tried

I always thought Hell would be a giant load screen that goes on for eternity, then one day, eons later, it would end, only to reveal a slightly different loading screen.

I made it do that just for fun
