1.3.4 not activated

I re-installed ver 1.3.4 entered my serial number but it won't activate.
When I bought the program it said this version would never expire but
couldn't update either. So what's up with that?

mine is doing that too i have 1.3.8 though, my computer stopped working for a while and then we got it fixed. i had to reinstall all of my programs. i didn't do that with GE at first, i opened it up, it asked me for my seurity key, i gave it that then it worked for about 2 seconds then it said i either needed to buy a new package (i had the silver version) or enter my key again. I entered my key again, closed GE and reopened it, it did the same thing! I reinstalled it put my key in again and it stil did the same thing! makslane wat do we need to do? take a look at wat pops up

You need to use the key you have received.
To enter the key again, open a command windows (DOS, shell), go to the Game Editor folder and type:

gameEditor unregister

After this, just execute Game Editor again and enter your key.

YEAH AND THEN IT WORKS.when my points reached at 30 i PM makslane and he give me link but when i add activation i have same problem as yours but makslane give me all instruction and then IT WORK!!

Nope. That doesn't work. Even after uninstalling then reinstalling it no longer asks for my serial, it merely goes to your online activation then says "you need to be activated."
I tried searching the registry to remove all references to insure clean re-install but no luck there either. I'm running on Vista if that makes any difference.
