Fluidity Problems

Postby Hedfone » Wed Aug 02, 2006 3:46 pm

Can i make it so that my actor's movements are always fluid?

ie: now, when he does a running jump, he jumps ( with a jumping pose ) he lands like he's standing still because i used an animation finish event. Can i make it so that if he jumps while standing still then he lands standing still and if he jumps running then he lands running it actually LOOKS like he's running?

ie: also, when i press down both arrow keys then release one he moves like he's just standing still.

if anyone has ANY idea what i mean then could they please reply?

You can switch between animations using the using the 'Wait for frame' option in the actions.

With this option you can make smooth transitions between animations.

yeah,
thats all godd but that doesn't really solve my problem. that just makes it so that you can only use one action at a time, ie: only walking, only jumping.
i mean so like, if you do a running jump you land running and if you jump still then you land still.

Does anyone know what i mean??
