:D
You're good at pixelart.
I'm not saying this to get points. It's true. i tried making pixelart games once, but it didn't turn out great.
On www.nitrome.com, there is just pixelart games. You can maybe get some ideas from the games there.

Very very nice. Can I ask you, how do you make this player models or that tiles?

Do you make it with Adobe Photoshop? If no, can you tell me the programs name please?

Thx,

CampeR

No photoshop for this. I use Graphics Gale for all my sprites now. Thanks for commenting! (+1 for you as well)

I will give some opinion:
1. PB and Jay should have the different abilities that support each other. Jay as the destructor, while PB as the healer...(maybe about healing broken path),PB jump higher but not so far, while Jay jump farer but not so high,etc...
2. Make a "day" background. Most of your game using "night" background by choosing black. Thats too monotone i think, you should use something new.
3. Where's the music?with this kind of game, RnB or trance is more suitable..
4. Make arrow or something to show us where should go. Since this is a platformer, adding some checkpoint is a good thing :D
5. Good luck

Thanks for the advice Bee-Ant! Its true that all my games use black backgrounds, lol, but that's the way I like it. However, I have put dark outlines on the character sprites for this purpose exactly, so I could easily use other background types! That means you can expect that I'll have day backgrounds in some places. Music will come in once I have more stuff done.

The game's devellopment is now paused for a little while. I'm experimenting with a few things:

(1) Still looking into making my very own game engine with C++ and Allegro.
(2) Improving my pixel art at Pixel Joint. Develloping my style.
(3) I wanna make a shmup too! (Having 2 projects on the go at one time allows me not to get bored of one too much)

Jimmy, if you are reading this, don't worry, I still intend on keeping my promise to you!

ttyl everyone!
