I've been working on a shipwreck survival game. So far I've been focusing on procedurally generating terrain. Below is a video showing the mechanics so far. The inspiration for this game was Terraria and Minecraft but with an engineering twist. The player gets to make machines to help him survive and maybe even find a way off of the island. The plan is to make it a sandbox type game where you can do whatever you want with some suggested quests and a few story lines here and there.
