Game Icon

I made an Icon and chose it, but the compiled game doesnt have this Icon, but the GE Icon.

What am I making wrong?

Save the file as .ico

but i change only the extension from bmp to ico, i´ll try to convert it with GIMP

try .png. if that doesn't work, try converting from .png to .ico.

if it still doesn't work, I have no clue what to do next.

Use gimp make the size of the photo 16x16 ok. Then save it as .ico file.
On saturday i post some .ico files here but put the size i said and it will work ok .

opps no its 8 x 8 but sometimes 16x16 works so try that 1st

Use IcoFX to make an 32x32 icon.
That's my solution.

I have the same problem, but have not found a solution yet. I've tried 32 x 32, and 64 x 64, but the pacman icon still shows up. A small version of the icon actually shows up in the header when I start the exe, but in the folder the pacman icon shows. I didn't have this problem before, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?

If you still get error, use IcoFX and to change the icon, use IcoFX's resource hacker.

I think i have the same problem.do you have the full version of game editor? if you don't then that might be a feature missing on the demo.
